The long-life active carbon filter FC-Plus are designed to absorb up to 88,6% smells and moisture from cooking before the air re-circulating back to your kitchen.

\"long-life<\/p>\n

The Frecan long-life active carbon filter FC-Plus contain activated charcoal scattered throughout the black mesh filters. These charcoal particles are incredibly effective at adsorption.<\/p>\n

\u00a1You never again get those bad odors blowing around your kitchen! So, the bigger the charcoal filter, or the bigger the surface area of the filter, the more odors can get trapped and the longer it will last before becoming completely saturated, being able to absorb up to 88,6% of smells.<\/p>\n

To ensure that your range hood works properly, it’s important to replace the filters regularly.<\/p>\n

The Frecan long-life filter FC-Plus has a lifespan of 3 years depending on using frequency. Past this period, the filter can be regenerated up to a maximum of two times, expanding its further use for one more year after each regeneration unlike a standard charcoal filter.<\/p>\n

The regeneration must be done by introducing the filter in the oven for 1 hour at a minimum temperature of 250\u00ba. Once cool you can then put it back in the cooker hood. <\/p>\n

*This regeneration can also happen in pyrolysis if the oven has this option.\n<\/p>\n

How to install your carbon filter<\/h3>\n

The filter can be installed directly on the motor outlet or inline.<\/p>\n

In addition, their installation method allows for a reduction in noise of 20%, a considerable reduction equivalent to 6 dB.<\/p>\n
