Gone are the days when kitchens were just a place to prepare food. Today, kitchens are multi-functional rooms that play a variety of pivotal roles in our homes, often in ways that they never have before.<\/h2>\n

In this pandemic, priorities have been changing. Experiences have had to be put aside and we have realized that the whims have lost their meaning. We have spent too much time at home and we have prioritized our basic needs and what we did not give importance before we now adore: From cooking up our favourite meals, nourishing our bodies and learning to bake with mum to doing homework with our children, hosting and entertaining friends, and using it as a place to converse over a steaming cup of tea. <\/p>\n

A week ago, we had the pleasure of being on local tv as pioneers in the design, manufacture and sale of proximity appliances. In the documentary we can see how sales are\u00a0going\u00a0through the roof since\u00a0the\u00a0end\u00a0of\u00a0the confinement. An increase in demand which benefits us all, manufacturers and businesses.<\/p>\n

Consumers\u2019 increased propensity for cooking and baking during the pandemic may have made them realize that their kitchen is in need of an upgrade or even a major overhaul. Perhaps their appliances are outdated, or the floor plan needs to be reconfigured to accommodate more people or counterspace is severely lacking. Or someone who\u2019s become a super chef may now consider integrating a range with proofing capability to make the process easier and more efficient. <\/p>\n
